Browser back button and search results / Clear search results

Two things…
Checked In both Firefox and Chrome, when the browser back button is clicked it returns to the page the search was initiated from, but then immediately flips back to the search results… Clicking the back button again repeats the same results… When a link back to the same page is clicked it goes and stays… That flip back feels pretty awkward, probably annoying to some folks…
Is there a “clear search results” short code that can be used to place a “clear search results” button at the top of the search page to accompany the one that is at the bottom…?
Over all very nice, appreciate being able to use it…
