Browser Cache doesn’t work

Hi: I struggled for a while with this, and now am wondering if Litespeed Cache plugin can’t actually control browser cache expire times, on Openlitespeed. I can see the rules it adds to .htaccess, but they don’t do anything.

Is this true? If so, couldn’t the plugin be smart enough to detect server type, and warn us that it will not work? Or even remove that feature, for users on Openlitespeed?
