Browser caching expiration time not set

Hey guys,

After activating Cache Enabler and setting expiration time, all performance tools keep saying static assets are not levraging browser caching. There’s nothing new in htaccess. Most other caching plugins set expiration and browser caching via htaccess.

Does Cache Enabler handle browser caching? If so, what exactly does it do or where should I check to make sure something didn’t get missed?
