    Hello!

I currently have a site in production that uses the Braintree plugin. A test can be viewed here:

    https://www.brandem.co.uk/?bypass_=1

I believe the plugin is installed ok, all my keys and tokens are installed and tests return correctly. The plugin appears on the checkout page as expected, but after about 5 seconds, the plugin reloads then shows the message:

Your browser does not support this payment method.

I have an SSL certificate installed, and the ‘force’ option is selected.

I’m not sure what is causing the error – please could you advise what I can try to fix the problem?

    Hope you can help

    Many thanks.

    Hi,
I just tested your Checkout page. It looks like it works (you can try yourself with a $1 dummy product). I noticed that, as you’ve said, you get a “Your browser does not support this payment method” message right after the page is loaded.

I assume you are using the free (non-paid) version of the plug-in. If that’s the case then the message above may occur in case on the PayPal button. At the initialization time (when the Checkout page is loading) the plug-in ask the Braintree Gateway “what are the features that you support for this merchant – ie. your web shop” and for some feature the Braintree might response with an “unsupported feature” event.

So try disable the PayPal button option in the plug-in Settings and check if that’s the cause. If it is then it means that your PayPal functionality is not enabled on you Braintree Dashboard for the given currency (ie. the English pound).

I’m looking forward for your findings.
