browser resets calendar to first event in system

In Safari, on PC, ipad, mac; and in Firefox on ipad – When the user goes to the calendar page, and in list mode clicks on an event, then uses the browser’s back button to go back to the calendar, it briefly displays correctly, then re-displays starting with the oldest event in the system, which in this case is April 2014. This does not seem to happen in Chrome, Edge, or IE.
On the PC, the Safari version is 5.1.7
On the ipad, Firefox 16, Safari 12Refreshing the page brings it back to the most current events.
