I am experiencing an issue when copying products to list a new one. The browser tab on the very top of the browser window (not shop, browser) displays the name and item description of the original product that was copied to make a new one.

The URL for the new product is correct, but the BROWSER Tab is NOT correct. This has been happening with every product I copy since the last or before last WooCommerce plugin update.

Can you please explain how I can fix this?

    Thank in advance !

    Hi there,

Are you using any SEO plugins, like Yoast or similar? If so, it’s likely that the product title is stored in some meta data that is editable when editing the product.

No, I am not using Yoast or any similar type plugins.

    Hi @sapience

I looked at the example product you linked to and it appears to match the product name. Were you able to get this resolved?

hmmm… I just looked myself and it appears correct now. Is there a latency period or something when you add a product using the ‘copy’ feature?

    Hi @sapience

There should not be a delay when copying a product. However, if you’re using a caching plugin or if your host has server side caching, that might have been the cause of the delay.
