Brute Force Admin Login Rename Forwards to Website Not Dashboard

    My admin login was renamed to reduce brute force attempts. However, after I login it forward me to the website not the wordpress dashboard. If I type in the admin login url again it forwards me to the dashboard.

    I have several users editing the site so it needs to work as designed.
