brute force ipv6 attempts

I’m seeing this in my log:

lockout,10,Host or User Lockout,2015-09-30 12:29:47,2015-09-30 16:29:47,2002:8e5b:e76a::8e5b:e76a,,,,,0=A whitelisted host has triggered a lockout condition but was not locked out.

Is it safe to assume that ipv6 support is missing, because I don’t have a single entry in my whitelist? If so, when will ipv6 be supported?
