I enabled the Brute Force > Login Whitelist option (only allows specific IP address to access the login page). My website has a couple of password protected pages allowing club members with a password to access those pages. With the Brute Force > Login Whitelist option enabled, the password protected pages are also disabled from any individual with a password from accessing the password protected pages (they encounter the same block as the login page). I am aware of the Brute Force > Rename Login Page exists but prefer to use the Brute Force > Login Whitelist option (I am a novice user and not comfortable with some of the more intermediate/advanced options in the event they lock out the “administrator”).

My question is: Am I missing something to protect the login page using the Brute Force > Login Whitelist option while allowing users to access password protected pages?

    Darol
