All you need to do is to use the special URL which was given to you when you saved the Brute Force Login feature., ie, this will contain your secret word as part of your site’s url.
By using this you should be able to get access to your login page from any computer.

    For example:
    https://www.example.com?yoursecretword=1

Thank you very much for such quick reply, much appreciated.
I’d been mixed up with the cookie issue, this is very clear and it’s such a good measure, lately my site has been bombarded with ‘lockdown’ events of unknown users trying to break-in.

    Regards Dennis

I’m having the same problem! I just installed the plugin and when I tried to access the login, I get the plain site without the login panel, no dashboard nothing. I installed the plugin from a pc (internet explorer), then tried to access from an OS X (chrome), and obviously the thing is not getting the cookie. I’ve tried it even from another laptop – nothing. I’m having the site on a maintenance mode – disabled it, still nothing. And yes, of course I entered the secret word, and as I said, I get the site, as a visitor would. I wouldn’t like to copy over the access file, because I would really like to use this plugin! Any ideas?
    Thanks,
    Alen
