    Hi, Ntokozo.

Sorry you’ve had trouble using PMPro. I imagine you installing PMPro, going through the setup, then going to the members page and looking for an “add member” button. Not finding one, maybe you visited our site and searched for “add member”. We indeed have a paid add on that adds a page to more quickly add members from the admin. It would have been the first result. $249 to add members! Bullshit! 1-star review.

I think you might have moved on, but I’ll continue here for others.

Even though there is a paid add on like that, it is possible to edit users, including yourself, and give them a membership level. From the WP dashboard go to Users -> Add New, or click to edit a user from the users list. Then from the edit user/profile page, scroll down and there is a section to set a membership level.

    More details here: https://www.paidmembershipspro.com/adding-new-members-or-updating-existing-members-as-administrator-or-membership-manager-role/

The add member add on is cool. The reason it isn’t in the core plugin is boring technical stuff, but we would like to make something like it available in the core plugin at some point. In the meantime, you can add/edit users in WP as normal, and change their membership levels. You can also find our paid add ons on GitHub to use for free if you don’t need our other premium services. See here https://www.paidmembershipspro.com/free/

    Good luck with your site.
