Buddy Avatar – 3-alpha issue

Has anyone had an issue with the avatar system when using Buddypress and WP 3.0-alpha? It’ll act like it’s uploading, and will be in the folder, it won’t show on the page or even in the crop box. It works properly under 2.9.2 and WordPress μ so I’m guessing it’s a multisite issue with 3.0
