    Hello,

I have Buddy Boss Platform and app and it has been working with Paid membership Pro easily. For some reason about a week ago, paid membership pro and the buddy boss integration began to give me a problem. Anytime I click the activity page from a desktop it doesn’t work at all for me. After I remove the plugin it then works. I really need this plugin for my website to function and my client is becoming frustrated with it all. No new memberships can be created through the app until this is rectified. All happening through their peak season. Looks like the only way to get help from paid membership pro is to pay over 240 bucks for a membership. Please anyone…I would appreciate your advice.

Thank you for your patience I still am looking into this further and will take a bit of time from my end. Please can you provide me with debug.log information if there is any debug information when viewing the activity feed.

You may enable debugging by following this guide –?https://www.paidmembershipspro.com/how-to-enable-debugging-on-you-your-wordpress-site/

I’ve had a look at your Site Health and noticed you don’t have the “Access Restricted” page set, would you mind generating this page under the Memberships > Pages settings page and see if this helps.

Also please can you share a screenshot of your “PMPro BuddyPress” options page so I may see how you have configured the settings for this plugin?

    1. I’m looking into debugging as I am not familiar with it.
    2. I am unable to generate an access restriction page. If you see the image it only allows meet to set a page as restricted and it also gives me a shortcode to insert on any page I would like to restrict.
    3. Screen Shots attached

Thanks for sharing the screenshots, please can you create the access restricted page (for testing purposes) and let me know if it still breaks.

It should redirect non-members away from the activity page and the activity page should load if you have the relevant membership access.

I haven’t been able to replicate this issue on my testing site.

I think I was able to figure it out. For some reason I was advised to install Paid Memberships Pro – BuddyPress & BuddyBoss Add On (for restrictions) and the regular paid membership pro plugin. They both were conflicting with one another’s restrictions. So I disabled the paid membership pro – Buddy Press & Buddy Boss Addon on (For restrictions). Everything is working fine now but I want to ask if I need this plugin for any functionality I am unaware of. Everything seems well but I want to be sure. The BuddyBoss integration with Paid Memberships Pro restricts specific features of BuddyBoss or BuddyPress. It allows you to automatically add members to specific groups, restrict specific areas of BuddyPress/Buddybosss etc.

The download page will explain this more in detail – https://www.paidmembershipspro.com/add-ons/buddypress-integration/
