Buddy Press not showing discussion

    the site is not public (see login below)

    but we had been using old buddy press and recently updated old bp to buddy boss and the discussion is missing and I’m trying to trouble shoot..
    Can you point me in the right direction?

    Hi,

    Are comments generally enabled at Settings > Discussion (/wp-admin/options-discussion.php)?

    Yes they are, I wonder if it’s a conflict with another plugin? I will go test and let you know.

    Hmmm, if the only change you made to cause this behavior change is the update from BuddyPress to Buddy Boss, then it sounds like you have a pretty good idea where to start. ??

    I’m not sure why that would matter, but maybe they’ve added some custom settings for BP Docs visibility.

    it’s the “new and improved” BB theme that is conflicting! Thanks so much for your help and point in the right direction.

    The fix was changing to a different plugin.
