Hey all,

I’ve been trying to use this plugin to import 600+ members into a new BuddyBoss / BuddyPress build where I am using the bb feature of membertypes. When I export what I have in the db now I can clearly see these export for existing users in two columns.

– professional category (membertypes field)
– bp_member_type

The first field seems to use the membertype ID, in this case 311. And the second field contains the slug, in this case legal-professionals.

However when I go to import my data this values get added to a new column header of the same name. Then upon export I can see the duplicate headers and those two values being on the wrong column.

Any thoughts on this may be remedied?

I have just fixed the second issue. bp_member_type should be update now correctly.

It will be fixed in next update.

Tell me if it appears any new problem (next version will be released tomorrow or in the Monday).

I’m a big user of buddyboss and a bigger fan of this import.

I am looking to import a user’s “Profile Type” which is what BuddyBoss calls them. But this thread calls them Member Type. Buddyboss does have a plugin that implements the same functionlity to BuddyPress. https://www.buddyboss.com/product/buddypress-member-types/

But I am looking for BuddyBoss Profile Type as defined here: https://www.buddyboss.com/resources/docs/components/profiles/profile-types/ and shown on my installation here – https://www.screencast.com/t/Lg2FgneJ

If they are different, then I will start a new thread.

Sorry I do not know too much about BuddyBoss.

I don’t know how they works with this data you told: “Profile type”.
