    Hi

First : make sure BuddyPress version 1.7 is activated.
Second : it looks like it’s a javascript issue, try to find in your browser console the javascript error.

OOps just saw you were on WordPress 3.4.2, i think you’ll also need to upgrade to WordPress 3.5.1 (latest version) to use this Plugin.

imath if i upgrader the wordpress it will create problem or not?

Well, you can deactivate all plugins except BuddyPress and BuddyDrive first to see if it’s a javascript conflict with another plugin.

If still have problem, try to activate twentytwelve theme.

If nothing works, back up everything and upgrade to the latest version of WordPress.

Anyway, it’s always recommended to upgrade to the latest WordPress version.

I see. I don’t know what’s wrong with your config. I’ve made the test with :
    – WordPress 3.5.1
    – TwentyEleven theme (as you refered to it)
    – BuddyPress 1.7
    – BuddyDrive 1.0

And it’s working, in my user’s page, if i click on “add a new file” button, no javascript issue and the upload form is showing as you can see on this image : https://i917.photobucket.com/albums/ad19/im4th/2011_zpsbd3e05cb.png

So this is really weird !

Last chance to resolve, and i should have begun by asking you this, what is the error message thrown into the javascript console of Chrome ?

I hope your browser has its javascript enabled !! Because if the # sign is added to the url as you described then 2 possibilities :
    – a jasascript error
    – javascript is disabled in the browser settings…
