yeah thats shall be great ! Beacuse Facebook deleted the timeline dislaying even for the Fan Pages.

As buddypress is a community platform like FB or others, support the buddypress activity stream may be an clever idea ??

Hey Oobalt can you explain further? it would not be possible to display it in a hierarchical manner or multiple-levels of replies,but depending if BP stores entries as a posttype, you could use post2post if they dont show up, or convert the bp rss feed to posts, and list it that way.

For css changes i’d suggest adding a custom class to the template, and defining the css for it on the specific page/post where you would display the TL without affecting the TL display of regular posts

The loop for the activity stream works the same way as the posts loop. But they are BP updates.

I’ll take a look and try if i can just produce a css sheet for the activity stream to display in a TL look.

I had tried once, but i had some issues with the floats: Some divs were capricious.

And yes from next monday, no more timeline style for the fanpage on facebook, they come back to the old way… this is sad.
