• When viewing my site as the mobile version, the buddypress admin bar at the top of the screen covers the menu tab so I can’t get to any other page using the menu. The admin bar is set by default with buddypress, I don’t want to disable it but it needs to be respositioned I assume.

It works fine on the web version

    Any tips?

  • Hi,

Only in WPtouch Pro can we selectively disable other plugins. Or you can use one of the plugins that will disable the admin bar in WordPress that are in the plugins repository here at www.ads-software.com.

Do you know the other plugins? I’ve tried searching with no luck. But I’d still only want to disable it when viewing mobile.

    Hi Nicole,

In WPtouch Pro we can successfully remove the buddypress admin bar in the mobile theme only. It is possible using a custom function which is placed in a child theme’s functions.php file.

At this time, child theme’s are only supported in WPtouch Pro.

    Hi
    I’ve got WPtouch Pro.
How do I get it to work on buddypress?
When ever I load on my iPhone 4 it just shows a white screen.
    Please help!
    Thanks
