    Hi there!

We implemented a newsletter registration in the footer of the page, with a shortcode of the plugin mailchimp for wordpress. It works just fine, after the user is registered to our page. But before logging in, the submit button of the newsletter registration form is doing nothing on click. It seem’s like there is a conflict with the login form of buddypress in the topbar? I would be appreciated for your help or some hints!

See also my topic descipred more detailed here .

Please post a link to a page where we can test the form for you.

Thanks for the fast reply! You can find the form in the footer of the website https://better-than-ever.com

Here is a screenshot of the form:

At the first visit of the website, also a popup will appear that works, which is using the same mailchimp form. Also this form works after registration.

    Hi,

I think another plugin is blocking the submit, might be spamshield.

Altough Spamshield should work perfectly fine with MailChimp for WordPress, there might be some setting you need to change. You can first confirm this by turning off spam shield to see if that makes the form work again. If it does, you can contact SpamShield support for help with that.

If it’s not spamshield, please turn off all other plugins and turn them on one by one until the problem appears.

    Hope that helps!

    Kind regards,

Thanks a lot for you reply!
I removed the spamshield already.. no effect. But I just found the problem: After deactivating Ninja Popups, the Formular works just fine. Is there any conflict known with this Plugin?

    Hi,

Thank’s for letting us know. I indeed saw a number of plugins capturing form submits and just mentioned the first one i saw. Apparently Ninja popups also tries to capture any form submit. My advice is to either ask them for support or switch to our plugin: Boxzilla. It’s free and is made by the same programmer as MailChimp for WordPress.

    Hope that helps,

Thanks for the great support and this plugin. It just works fine and it has a lot of great functions for free! Awesome!
