Buddypress conflict?

I’ve activated and filled out the ReCaptcha settings in the plugin, but it isn’t applied to the registration form. I’m using Buddypress as well, maybe there’s a conflict there?

I’m also experiencing trouble with the custom email function, the email and sender settings for password recovery are applied, but none of the other emails, e.g activation.

Hopefully there’s a solution to this because I really love this plugin.
