BuddyPress Docs conflicts with GTM

  • There is a conflict between BuddyPress Docs and GTM which unfortunately affects GTM. BuddyPress Docs is not affected.

    I’ve raised this in the GTM forum but have copied the text below…

    I suspect it is a problem around preventing other users from editing docs and the timeouts related to this but I might be wrong…

    When a normal (non-admin) user wants to edit a GTM project, the following BuddyPress Docs error message appears

    “This doc is currently being edited by Admin User. To prevent overwrites, you cannot edit until that user has finished. Please try again in a few minutes.”

    Also, page they are forwarded to is a BuddyPress docs url, not a GTM url.

    I’ve tried altering the plugin slug in BuddyPress Docs via wp-config (which works fine) but the problem still remains…

    Disabling the BuddyPress Docs plugin solves this but if it is possible for both to co-exist together, that would be fantastic…
