Buddypress email

  • Hi!
    I’m interested in understanding how buddypress email system works with qtraslate:
    1- all the bp emails can be traslated in admin dashboard (like normale posts). This mean that I have to traslate the emails in the admin dashboard? (That is, They are not automatically traslated via buddypress mo po files)

    2- how qtraslate selects the languange for a buddypress notification email?? (They can be sent to users not active at the moment? the notification is sent, i.e. for a comment to his post)

  • I’ll add some info about BuddyPress.

    @ositive If the BuddyPress translation you’ve loaded is 100% complete, it’ll include the translated emails. What you need to do is go to wp-admin > Tools > BuddyPress, and run the “email repair” tool. This will delete all the existing email posts (English), and re-add the emails, using the translation provided by the .mo file.

    I ran the tool and now the email are all traslated in italian. Anyway q translate x gives one tab for each language, that now are all in italina language, also for english tab. This mean that I have to manually traslate in the three tab to have multilingual email? (different language for different users)
