Buddypress Error on Installation–Help!!

  • I did everything the instructions said to do and I’m getting this error on installation:

    Fatal error: Call to undefined function: get_site_option() in wp-content/plugins/buddypress/bp-core/bp-core-avatars.php on line 17

    HELP!!

    BuddyPress is for WordPress MU only, it won’t work with standard WordPress (yet).

    I Have WordPress MU installed and I have click on the activate tab in wordpress MU and I keep getting this error.
