    You are probably using an old version of BuddyPress.

    bp_register_group_extension() was introduced in BP 1.8

    Please update to the latest version, 1.0.3. It should fix the issue.

    The plugin was requiring that Groups be enabled, as Group integration is one of the core features of it. It will now load correctly with Groups disabled.
