Buddypress Group Members can’t see events

    I’m using Events Manager with Buddypress and have a private group.

    When I add events to the private group, they are “privately published” by default and cannot be seen by my group members.

    How do I fix this?

  • Hello,

    When creating an Event you need to select the Group where that Event should be included. Please make sure that the “User” you’re using is indeed in the Private Group you selected.

    I’m the admin of the site and the group, and I selected the Group when adding the event.

    Only when I force the event to be Published and uncheck Private in Quick Edit can my members view the event.

    I can only do this in Quick Edit. If I try to do it in the edit event screen, it will force the event to be Privately Published.

    under the visibility option you can set it to public but since the event is specific to a private group then this will make sure that this event will show only to the members of this private group.
