BuddyPress Group Topic editor "kitchen sink"

    I’ve implemented groups with forums in my site. In creating topics within the groups the editor is very limited in that there is no “kitchen sink” formatting type of toolbar as there is for blog posts within the maintenance area and adding posts. Even a simple toolbar like what is included for this support forum would be helpful as most users will not know html.

    Also, can the text area for group topics be made wider?

    Is there some kind of option or plugin that provides this kind of functionality that I may have missed or is this just not possible at all?
