Really great, thank you to share it for free ?? but I’m unlucky

Using Twenty Twelve (child theme) and BuddyPress v1.7.2, all seems right with “Pages” pages, perfectly
but not with “BuddyPress Member” pages

Checked and tried native components (Activity, Profile, Messages, etc) and ?? plugins (BP-media, Events Manager, etc) pages, then my customized sidebar isn’t displayed, I show only main sidebar ?? in these cases

Is there something to do, if we use BP and this default Twenty Twelve theme?

Voila ?? many thanks in advance

    WP 3.5.1

NB: If my “Pages” pages aren’t related to BuddyPress, then it’s ok! in fact

but… if they ‘re linked to BP components, then it works with “Register” page but not “Activity” for example

    Strange ?? isn’t ?

Your problem might be related to the following, taken from the FAQ section:

My new sidebar is not displayed where I expect it to?

All content rules are dependent of each other (when they collide), which makes it possible to create extremely focused rules for where to display a sidebar; e.g. with posts written by a given author and with a given category. However, this also means that it currently is not possible to create a single sidebar that should be displayed with posts by a given author or posts with a given category.

Note the exposure setting as it determines whether the selected rules apply to archives, singulars or both.

This might explain why the correct sidebars are shown sometimes and sometimes not. To solve this issue you will have to create different sidebars for different content instead of selecting the content in one sidebar.

Well, thank you @Intox for your reply ?? then tried to follow the right way but it’s still doesn’t work when selected one customisez sidebar and BP members page

I ‘ll try other “testing” even if I’m unlucky…

Are you sure that the Host Sidebar you select in the sidebar editor is present on the BP member pages? A Host Sidebar must be present, Content Aware Sidebars simply “overwrite” it when needed. Alternatively you can select the Manual handle and insert the Template Tag found in the FAQ section in your theme whereever you want it.

Sorry to be very late ?? thank you for your reply and related info, I ‘ll try one more time, soon and then give to you my feedback (WP 3.7.1 and BP 1.8.1 for now…)
