Buddypress – not fully ok

    Hi guys

    With regard to the Nouveau template, on the Buddypress activity page, there is not button to comment, just a little 0 to indicate not comments yet. This is the same on group pages etc. There should be a text label for comments, delete etc. Blocksy seems to work with the legacy template.

    Would you be able to get back to us with a little bit more detail on this one? What template are you exactly referring to? We’re not offering any “Nouveau” template.

    Right. Buddypress has two templates governing key styles which I think are accessed from the customiser. Anyway the bottom line is that buddypress buttons are not visible in Blocksy with regard to the activity stream and group streams. I should be able to comment. I can see a comment count of 0 and the tooltip comes up, but yeah it isn’t right. Here you go this will be set to draft later today fyi) https://voicesfordurack.com/activity/

    As far as I know, if you choose another template, you will stop executing Blocksy’s code (which is normal behaviour), meaning you will also kill the compatibility with Buddypress.

    I will ask the developers for an opinion on this and get back to you as soon as possible.

    So there are buttons there lacking icons/ text for comment, delete and favorite. I’m new to BuddyPress but there are no setting s for button text , icons

    What happens if you switch to the “Default” template? Is it something that prevents you from using this template?
