buddypress notification

    Hi there,
    thanks for this awesome plugin!

    I’d like to use it with buddypress so I’d need two think:

    1) let website’s users to choose categories to subcribe from frontend

    2) gen notification not just via email, but also in the top bar (buddybar) for notification like facebook.

    does exist a way to obtain this features
