I’m probably just dense, so please accept my apologies in advance if I’m missing the obvious.

I would like to use Query Wrangler to display pages listing elements of member profiles, such that all ‘farmers’ display on one page, all ‘storekeepers’ are displayed on another page. I desire to show a limited number of profile fields for each individual on these pages.

Is this possible with Query Wrangler. I’ve been experimenting with posts, but all my member data is already in BuddyPress profiles and I hope to use it for queries. I used Views in Drupal to do something similar.

    Hi dowen777,

I took a look at how buddypress stores profile data and I don’t think this will be possible in query wrangler. BP stores data in their own unique way, and QW only deals with Post Types. In looking around I did find this plugin: https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/bp-profile-search/ That, or something similar, might do what you’re looking for.

    Good luck!

    Jonathan,

Thank you! Thanks for the tip. I’m so impressed with the flexibility of Query Wrangler. Do you have any plans in the future to support the query of BuddyPress profile fields? You are helping to strengthen WordPress in a very important area. Are you aware of movement to make a Drupal Views type query capability part of the core of WordPress core?

    Have a fine day.

    Dan
