    Have you tried the 4.2.1 release that I hope fixes most, if not all, of the issues?

    Could you check the user meta for the ones that seem to be getting through and let me know if they have anything set for a _bprwg_is_moderated meta key? 4.2 brought about a change to how we’re marking as moderated, and moved from user_status to user meta.

    I have the BP Registration Options plugin version 4.2.1 installed on WP4.0, and I am getting the same issue (no email alert, zero members request).
    Also there is no “a _bprwg_is_moderated” meta key in the usermeta table.

    Let me know if there is a work around.

    The meta key, for example, should be getting set upon activation of the user, once they click the link that’s emailed to them. Can you confirm that your users are able to do that and it’s not working still at that point?

    Just installed your new plug in. Tested as new signup, There was msg about limited access however I could do whatever I wanted at bb/BuddyPress
    Running WP 4.0.1
