BuddyPress Remove Image from bucket when user delets

Hello, I am using this plugin with WordPress in a Budypress setup and it is working great. The only issue I’m having is that when a user deletes one of their own images, it is removed from their profile. It however remains in the S3 bucket.

Has anyone come up with a way to have it delete the image from the bucket when a user deletes an image from their profile?

I tried using a plugin that would detect unused images so I could just occasionally batch delete them but they didn’t work properly since everything is being served from the cloud.

EDIT: I would like to add that if I delete from the Media from the admin panel it does delete properly from the bucket. The issue is only in BuddyPress when a user deletes it.
