    Hi,

I have latest WP 4.4, BP 2.4.3 Content Aware Sidebars 3.0.1 and Woocommerce 2.4.12 active on a site with 2016 theme on it, no other plugins activated.

I can replace the sidebar on a test page, the shop page, an individual product page, but not the BuddyPress pages, so is there anything I can do to fix this..?

    thanks,

    imacg

    Thank you for reporting this.

When you say BuddyPress pages, do you then refer to the BuddyPress Profile page, or the pages you set in the settings (Activity, Groups, Register etc.)?

    Hey
    Same here.
I Was also wondering (if it works with buddypress at all)
Can I have a different sidebar for every user with a certain role?
I’m looking for a solution where certain users (Authors) can have a booking calendar in their sidebar. I will have shortcode for each calendar (works with your plugin on post pages but not on buddypress)

Can you explain your problem in more detail, i.e. where is it that you expect the sidebar to appear and what are your sidebar settings?

It might be that BuddyPress has changed their API so that there is a compatibility issue, but the plugin was tested with the version of BuddyPress stated on the plugin description page.

    Hi Joachim,

thanks for getting back to me on this issue.

I seem to have it working now, the only pages I am left with no replacement capability on are individual BuddyPress groups, I can’t see them in the list, whereas individual Forums are shown under Forums, so is there a way to get to individual BP Group pages..?

The issue reported seems to be related to the AND/OR logic within Condition groups. I noticed that when I use add to group from the left hand side items it “AND”s the selected items into the current group, whereas if I add a new Group on right hand side it “OR”s the new group so can you explain the AND / OR aspects here..? if a group has AND in it will this affect when the sidebars are replaced..?

I tried this with BuddyPress elements and they only show when added in a new Group using OR, if they are selected in to an existing group with AND they do not pick up the sidebar and that seems to be the issue as that was how I was adding them before…

    thanks,

    Iain

Individual BuddyPress groups are unfortunately not supported by the plugin, but they will be supported in an upcoming PRO version.

A new version of the plugin has just been released, and the AND/OR logic should be easier to understand in the new UI. In short, any content you add to one group will be considered associated. E.g. if you add “All Posts” and a specific author, the sidebar will be displayed on all posts written by that author.

Let me know if this solves your problem or if you have any other questions.
