    Does this plugin work for frontend uploads? For example, if a user uploads an image on their BuddyPress activity stream – will this plugin resize images that are too large?

    Imsanity only works for images that are in the Media Library, and so far as I know, BuddyPress stores user uploads separately from the library.

    I recommend that you try out our other plugin, the EWWW Image Optimizer, which will allow you to compress and resize images in any folder on your site.
