Buddypress Toolbar disappears

I am using the BuddyPress plugin, which provides a toolbar for logged-in users on the top of the page.

After having installed Woocommerce, the toolbar disappears for all users, except those higher than the role of ‘contributor’. It seems there is a script in one of the Woocommerce files switching off the toolbar visibility.

Could you please look into this conflict?
Please note that BuddyPress has an option to switch off the toolbar for visitors of the site that are NOT logged in. So simply switching the script to a permanent visible toolbar would create another problem.

I hope this is a sufficiently clear description.
