    Hi there,

    I’m using Multisite and BuddyPress. I have nine registered users on the subsite I’m using BP and Super Socializer. Only five of them are showing up as BP members, including one of my two admins and four of my seven contributors.

    I can’t think of any reason why they won’t show up, and I was wondering if you know of any conflicts with BP?

    Thanks!

    Silly question, but how do I download the update? I can’t find any details in my initial order e-mail or on the website. Could you kindly steer me in the right direction?

    There is a Check for updates link below the Social Login myCRED addon at Plugins page in admin area. Click that and you will see Update now option, again below the add-on name at the same page.

    Sweet. That’s an awesome way to do things. ??

    I clicked on “check for updates”, and at the top of the plugins page, it says “A new version of this plugin is available”. However, I don’t see “Update now” anywhere. It still just says “check for updates”.

    Refresh the Plugins page one more time and you will see Update Now option below the add-on name at the page.

    Still doesn’t work for me. Just says “check for updates”. ??

    Update might be not working because your license is valid for one website and you have already activated it on production website. Don’t worry that PHP warning will be gone when you will update the add-on on production website.

    I’m on my production website right now. That’s the one I’m talking about, actually. I haven’t gotten to the test one yet. :/

    I only have this installed on my one site. I’m using multisite, but it’s only installed on this subsite.

    Then email us your subsite url (where you have activated license key) and license key so that we can check what’s wrong.

    Okay, I’ll do that now. Thanks!

    Edit: sent

    I have a similar concern – not to intrude on the topic.

    I have a MultiSite with BuddyPress. I have network activated the plugin, and from the start I needed to be sure I wasn’t going to cause any trouble on my Live Site Database. I noticed I had to fill out the credentials for every site – not that this is bad, but a MultiSite plugin comes prepared for a universal solution, on the Network Core Menu for instance.

    I have a complicated cherry to my condition though. My BuddyPress Signups have been directed to a Subsite – to be specific;
    www
    /magazine
    /education
    /forum/wp-admin (my standard login).

    Will the plugin work? I want to try it, but I don’t want to write a bunch of nonesense to the database or affect site functionality.

    What are my odds? ??

    Hi @doctor,

    You need to configure Social Login IDs separately for subsites as they would all require different API Keys/IDs (due to different site urls), except Facebook.
    For Facebook, you have to save yourmaindomain.com in App domains and Site URL option in app settings.

    My BuddyPress Signups have been directed to a Subsite – to be specific;

    Then you can configure and enable Social Login only for that subsite.

    Hey, thanks! If anything that simplifies things, I can hotlink to it on the rest of the site. Needed to be sure – at least I wont be creating half a dozen app’s in Social Media.

    Thanks for correcting me. I run most of my social media through Facebook, so the App URL issue was an unknown.

    Very prompt too. After I get it up and running I’ll drop a review + application. You saved me at least an hour figuring out that only the subsite would function. It’s the least I could do. ??

    Would you provide download link of this plugin?

    We are assuming your siblings logged in using Social Login. It happens when the emails associated to the social media accounts used to login, are same. Plugin checks if your website has already a user registered with that email and if there is any, it logs that user to already existing account instead of creating a new account.
