BUG: Age Gate and Yoast not working together

You’re absolutely right it does seem to be doing this, sorry for that I’ll look into a fix for it.

What you can do while I look into a fix is disable the option for “Change the page title to “Age Verification” when age gate is shown” and it’ll give you the Yoast title whenever someone lands on the page, even if the Age Gate is shown.

The way v2 has been built this shouldn’t be an issue even if you want to change the title. You’re welcome to try that, though it’s unofficial at present.

I have a minor update to v1 happening in prep for v2, so I’ll try and get a fix in for this too.

The fix for this is in 1.5.2 so should resolve any problems. Let me know if any other issues arise.

I thought that was probably what you had.

I’ve looked into it more and I’m sure it’s fixed now for both standard and JS versions in the 1.5.3 release. I think the JS fix wasn’t quite right in 1.5.2

If it still persists to let me know and I’ll continue looking for a solution.
