• Hey

    Thanks for a great plugin.

Just wanted to drop you a quick note regarding a minor bug.

I have a site with both a blog and a BBpress powered forum.

I use you plugin to select what sidebar content is displayed depending upon whether the user is in the blog or in a forum.

If I select all of the available forum related pages (index page, topics replys, archives etc)in your plugin, the BBpress frontend user profile page is not accounted for. I tried to fix this issue by perhaps using a specific page ID however BBpress MOds have advised me there isn’t one:

    My BBpress thread is here:
    https://bbpress.org/forums/topic/what-type-of-page-is-the-edit-profile-page-and-does-it-have-an-id/#post-176056

The BBpress mods have suggested perhaps you could update your plugin to include an option to tick show or hide “BBpress profile page”

I would be grateful to here your views on this.

Thanks in advance for any assistance. And thanks again for a great plugin.

    Kind Regards

    Max

  • There’s a forked version of the Display Widgets plugin called Display Widgets SEO Plus (built on from Display Widgets v2.05). Just updated to version 1.1.0 which includes widget logic support for bbPress an BuddyPress.

It’s in the WordPress Plugin Repository at https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/display-widgets-seo-plus/

Can be found under your “WordPress Dashboard” > “Plugins” > “Add New”

Use the Keyword Search facility, search for :
    Display Widgets
    Display Widgets SEO
    Display Widgets SEO Plus
    Widgets SEO Plus
    Widgets SEO

The plugin should be in the top 5 results.

Version 1.1.0 is the first version with bbPress/BuddyPress widget logic support, if you try it and find something missing, let me know.
