• Sport type: basketball

    CASE 1 – Steps:

    1. Admin > Leaguemanager > Matches
    2. Select a day of matches > Filter
    3. Insert a couple of results (only final result, without inserting the quarters’ results)
    4. Press Update results
    5. All the matches are saved as 0 – 0

    CASE 2 – Steps:

    1. Admin > Leaguemanager > Matches
    2. Select a day of matches > Filter
    3. Insert a couple of results (only LAST QUARTER result, without inserting the final result)
    4. Press Update results
    5. The matches with a result are correctly saved, matches without any result are saved as 0 – 0

Please fix asap because this is a critical bug for me.

This is actually no bug, but the final results are supposed to be automatically calculated from quarter results.

I will have a look into this again

Even accepting this as a “feature” (but I always inserted ONLY the final result, not the partials), all the matches without any results is now saved as 0-0, and this is a bug for sure (now I have all the unplayed matches marked as deuce 0-0!)…

In the next update I will first check if any final results score is provided and if yes, the automatic score calculation will be ommitted

I have the same bad issue in my table (ice hockey). All the results are wrong now and my table is useless.

Please fix this quickly as you have described above. I don’t have all the third’s scores from all games. Please note such changes in future release notes ??

Besides that: Thank you for giving this good plugin a drive again and for taking note of these threads. All the best for you!

this should be fixed for basketball and I will have a look at the other sport types. It should be, however, possible to put the final score in one of the thirds/quarters

    (@koelle)

Final scores should now be automatically calculated from quarters/thirds/sets for different sports types if no final score is submitted. Otherwise the user inputted final score is used.

I still don’t understand why you could not compute the final score from just one quarter reseults. If I set up a basketball league and put in only the score in one quarter it correctly calculates the score as the score of this quarter. This also works for scores in 2/4 or 3/4 quarter. Empty scores are simply treated as 0

    Hello Kolja,

thank you for working on that issue.
The problem persists, that no third standings lead to a 0:0 final standing, which counts as a played draw game.
Therefore I am back in the state with no possible not played future matches.
    Please fix that again …

    Best regards

what sport type do you use? please also post a screenshot

    Hello Kolja,

It’s ice hockey (as stated above). At the moment I can’t do a screen shot from the admin site. But please have a look at https://www.prellboecke.esv-dresden.de.

On https://www.prellboecke.esv-dresden.de/?page_id=635 you can see the stats. There are games in the future, but now they are “finished” as 0:0.

    Best regards

    Nothing here, can’t delete. Sorry

    What I mean is this:

    https://snag.gy/Q1b1L.jpg

    Everything seems to be fine:

Results in thirds are beeing calculated correctly, even final results only are correct (I don’t have all the thirds results).
But when I don’t fill in anything, the result is calculated as 0:0 and the matches are taken into account (that’s wrong!)

    Best regards.
