Bug: Check Box check by default and Check Box with Required Yes Option

I am having Two Separate issues when using the checkbox option.

My testing setup is 4 text fields and one checkbox.

Issue 1) The checkbox is showing checked by default when the product page is loaded. I need this to not be checked by default. I tried change required Yes and No with do changes.

Issue 2) When I change “Required” to Yes on the checkbox field, reload the product page, and click Add to Cart with no text entered into fields to test error message. I get the “This field can’t be Empty” text below the input field but then the page reloads showing the WooCommerce “This field can’t be Empty” in a red box above the product.

If I turn the “Required” to No on the checkbox field, reload the product page, click Add to Cart, the “This field can’t be Empty” shows below the textbox and the page does not reload.

Here are my Settings on a install using Twenty Seventeen and only two plugins to make sure there are no other conflicts.

Active plugins: WooCommerce (Version 3.0.8) and WC Fields Factory (Version 1.4.0) only

WC Fields Factory Settings:
Client Side Validation -> Yes
Client Side Validation Type -> On Blur [ + Product Submit ]

Any ideas would be appreciated. I am using the checkbox as a verification that the customer agrees that the text entered is approved as entered.
