• Hello,

I’ve been using your plugin for some time and I’m having several issues with it. Site is without multilang and runs latest WooCommerce. Default currency EUR, secondary GBP.

    Problem 1:
I have checkout in multiple currencies disabled, however some customers orders will be able to check out in my secondary currency GBP – I assume the cart did not revert back to default currency EUR because of a bug. Customer pays incorrect amount because the payment gateways will charge in EUR instead of GBP which is the currency the order is incorrectly placed in. The order info then looks like:
    Currency : GBP
    Base on Currency : EUR
    Currency Rate : 0.89
    Order total: 100 GBP
Charged to customer : 100 EUR

    Problem 2:
In some orders (about 1 in 10) I get this message: “This order created when multi currency disabled, so base currency and rate is current info.”
However I did not disable your plugin… The orders before and after this “bad” one are OK. But the one order will show that your plugin was not working when it was placed.

I have no idea why is happening and I did not find any errors in my server’s logs (I looked at several . I use the latest version of your plugin.

    Thank you.

  • Hello @whisperisko

    1. There is a problem with the payment gateway. The plugin did its job as changing the checkout currency on the checkout page to GBP.
    2. You can just skip that note. We will remove it soon.

    Hello,

    1) I am not sure if you understood my problem correctly, you seem to think it’s the opposite than it actually is. The plugin needs to checkout in EUR, not GBP.

If customer switched to GBP (secondary), then plugin must switch back to EUR – but it does not do it sometimes (bug). EUR should be used for checkout, because in your plugin settings, tab Checkout, item Enable (Pay in many currencies) is disabled.

In 95% of orders your plugin sends EUR, so that’s OK. But 1 out of 25-30 orders are with this bug. Then it sends GBP value and currency to checkout script. I can see in my invoicing plugin, that it these “bugged” orders it received amount and currency for items in GBP. All other orders are in EUR and I don’t change anything.

    2) Then why is the message there in some orders?

    Thank you.

    Hi @whisperisko

Yes. The currency on the checkout page should be the default currency if the pay in multi-currencies is disabled. This option works fine for us. We can not check the problem on your site so we are not able to help you with this issue. Sorry.
