    Hello Modula Team,

I contact you because I just installed your gallery plugin on my WordPress and the galleries are not displaying well on the page

as you can see for example in this photo :
    https://ibb.co/f2scN0z

I checked the health tool and no conflict between plugins has been detected.

Would you have any idea to resolve this issue ?

Thank you very much for your help

  • Hello @smnbrt

Thanks you for reaching us !

I would recommend a clear Clear Cache, more precisely to use a plugin like this: https://ro.www.ads-software.com/plugins/wp-fastest-cache/ -> which I highly recommend.
I would also like the URL from your website if the problem is not solved like this.
In the first phase, please empty your Cache page.

Please let me know if you have more questions !

    Warmly,
    Marian

Hello Marian, thank you for your answer and help.

Unfortunately the cache plugin and empty cache don’t solve the problem.
Is there a way to send you the URL and password privately ?

    Thanks
    Simon

    Hi again,

I still have a problem displaying gallery on my website and also have issue when opening lightbox on portrait Ipad.

I tried your recommandation with purging cache but it doesn’t work.

Would you have any solution please ?
This plugin is what I was looking for my website and I would be disapointed to uninstall it.

    Thank you very much

    Hello @smnbrt

Can you please send me the URL of your website with the gallery in it ? I wanna to check the problem more closely !

Let me know if you have more questions !

    All the best,
    Marian

I am having the same problem with my 2 column gallery. I also tried clearing cache and turning other plugins off, same result. It loads properly after refreshing, but not initially.

    Hello @fkhart ,

Please rest assured, we will help asap. Please give me a bit more details about your issue and what does not work (maybe adds some screenshots).
Also sending us the URL of your gallery would really help us investigate this faster.

    Looking forward to your reply!

    Have a nice day ! ??

    All the best,
    Marian

    Hello,

My website is now online but the issue is still here.

The URL where galeries are : https://sfpictures.fr/prestations/
And example of bug : https://ibb.co/f2scN0z

    Thank you for your help

    @fkhart
Unfortunately your problem does not come from us, the error comes from your theme:
    https://gyazo.com/c3432619f7d22c4f5afb26585dc16618

    @smnbrt
Your whole website works correctly in my opinion, you don’t have any error everything is fine, did you find the problem? https://gyazo.com/d78abb31d96b731a24999b7ac362a331

Thank you very much for your answer. But the problem comes from the galleries inside

    for example
    https://sfpictures.fr/pro-immobilier/
    https://sfpictures.fr/pro-sport/

@fkhart what is the theme you use ? Maybe I have the same issue

@visi19 Thank you for checking, are there any particular themes that you would recommend for Modula?

    @smnbrt I’m using OceanWP.

@smnbrt -> Can you try health check again? because we believe it is from the loading page plugin
I recommend installing this plugin: https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/health-check/
After you install and activate the above plugin it has a Troubleshooting mode which allows you to have a vanilla WordPress session, where all plugins are disabled, and a default theme is used, but only for your user – your visitors will still see the normal website.
Go to its troubleshoot mode and only activate Modula and see if it works correctly with a default WordPress theme (Twenty Nineteen for example) and no other plugins.
Please let me know how it goes and what you find!

@fkhart -> From my own experience I can say that it works with OceanWP only it depends on which version of PHP you use.
See if you have all the updates made to this theme.

    Thank you for your answer.

I didn’t want to use that plugin because there are some reviews reporting site crash. I totally want to avoid that.

But I have more informations and test results

? I deactivate all my plugins except Modula and my theme : the problem is still here. So it doesn’t come from a plugin conflict but maybe from Modula / Bridge Theme conflict

? I noticed that PHP Post Max Size is set on 130MO while 256MO is the recommended value by my theme. Could that be coming from this?

? When I refresh my page with the bug, the display of the gallery is perfect and there is no bug. So it just occures when the page is loading

    Hello again @smnbrt

You can try our Lazyload, we saw that you already have a functionality for such a thing and there may be an incompatibility between them.
    You can activate it from
    Module-> Galleries-> select gallery-> SpeedUP-> Lazy load

Please let me know if it’s work !

    All the best,
    Marian

    Hello @visi19

Very nice, thank you so much, that solution works for most of the problem.
Displaying on desk and mobile is much better.

But I still have this issue on mobile when I open the site from facebook URL. Would you have any idea why ?

    Thanks
    Simon
