Bug: Editor’s CAN NOT moderate comments (v2.8.5)

Does anyone have any pointers on how I could go about modifying this manually via the core php files?

You should be able to edit. I might be bold, but you might want to download Role Manager and try to see if that works for your editor.

This might help your WordPress allow your editor (if you want them to be able to edit posts) and any other abilitiess (roles) you want them to have access to.

This plug-in (https://www.ads-software.com/extend/plugins/exec-php/) is the reason my functionality had been pulled. Disabling it solved my problem.
