  • Interesting, not seeing this issue on my devices. What is the device and what is the web browser used?

    Hello,

I am using default browser on samsung galaxy s2 witg Android 4.1.2 and on i-pad it appears like that with chrome i think.

Alright, I’ll get back to you when I’ve done some more testing over here.

Any news? I also update to version 1.2.4 and my footer has the following problem as it appears on the image below. It’s all white.

Try pressing save once in theme options and see if it goes away.

As for the other issue, I don’t see it on my devices – will test some more here in a sec.

    Edit:
    – On my Galaxy S2, it works fine in both Opera browser and the standard browser. Haven’t checked Chrome.
    – On iPad it works fine with Safari default browser

Will have to download Chrome and check – however these sort of bugs are hard to test and locate the issue on.

Can you see if you see the issue on the demo site as well on your devices? Otherwise it may be some widget you have or plugin.

The problem at the footer was fixed it was from a widget.
On your demo site i can’t reproduce the issue. But i have the default widgets that your style has.

Try disabling all plugins / any custom css for a moment and then test on your device. If it works, then re-enable each plugin one by one to see which one is causing issues.

The demo site runs the latest version, and as you can’t see issues there, it’s somewhere on your end.

You are correct. After searching and messing around with firebug i had forgot that each icon has unique color on his options. I removed it and it has been fixed. One more question. What are the differences between the versions that are maintained here and the one you are hosting on your private site? Are they on they same level of development? Should i switch to the other or stay with it?

Interesting that the color option would make them disappear. Weird, glad you found the issue though!

The one on my site still has some features that were required to be removed from the www.ads-software.com release, as they have strict standards (which is a good thing, although I would’ve of course prefered to just maintain one version).

So currently, the other theme also has:

    1. Tracking code field in admin (for google analytics etc)
    2. Social sharing buttons in the article for Twitter, Facebook, G+ and Pinterest
    3. Some basic shortcodes
[these had to removed as they were “plugin territory”]

    4. An option to enable a custom.css file for those who do not want to use child theme
[this had to be removed because they always want people to use child themes]

    5. Header Image field, for full-size header image
    6. Background Image option in styling options
[these had to removed because they don’t use WordPress’ standard functionality for header/body background, but OptionTree upload fields]

The rest is the same, except that you get no auto update notifications with the other version, and have to do updates manually (until I get the auto update thing to work and add it in an update).
