• Hi everyone !

I’m using WP jQuery Lightbox with NextGen Gallery.
It works fine on FF, Chrome, and IE9. But i’ve got a problem on IE7 and IE8.
For example, i have 5 photos in a gallery build by NextGen Gallery.
When i use IE7 or IE8, the navigation (via next or previous button in lightbox) seems to be disturbed.
I click on the first thumbnail => the first photo opens itself in a lightbox. Then i click ‘next’, and instead of viewing the second photo, this is the third photo which is showed in the lightbox. And sometimes, clicking ‘next’ or ‘previous’ reloads te actual photo and i can’t acces to the others photos.
    Have a try on IE7 or IE8 : https://www.lesalon-jonzac.com/salon-jonzac/presentation/
I thought there was a conflict with NextGen Gallery but i tried to laucnh the galery on demo page of WP jQuery Lightbox(https://game.hgo.se/blog/motion-capture/) and i have the same problem on IE7 and IE8.
Is there a fix for this bug ?

    Thanks for your replies !

  • I’m having the same issues. The next and previous buttons seem to call up images randomly using IE8. Seems to work OK on all other browsers.

    Hi jimmywags !
I didn’t find any fix for this bug (as you can see, no one answered to my post).
I’ve been looking for others plugins, and i found “Fancybox for WordPress” ! It works perfectly on all browsers !
    If this can help you…

I’m consolidating the discussion of IE issues over at this thread, as it was tagged correctly.

    Please post or reply there.
