Bug: Gravity Forms API Submissions

  • Hi, I have been using your plugin successfully for some time and it has worked great!

    I recently implemented off-site gravity form submissions via its API (https://docs.gravityforms.com/web-api/#post-forms-form-id-submissions) and I ran into a bug. If I am submitting from a non-wordpress URL, your plugin is not present and I am unable to submit a valid submission. The GF API logs return a successful response, the submission gets added to the database, but it does not appear in the GF Entry backend and it does not trigger any email notifications.

    My solution was to exclude that specific form from requiring the recaptcha. It would be useful to include a warning about using the API and to suggest that API submitted forms be added to the exclude list. Another alternative may be to not validate submissions that are sent through the API. Either way, thanks for taking the time to build this plugin and read my feedback.
