  • Ok so you are good for now, however you will need to update as soon as possible.

    Just to be clear:

2.2.3. issue persisted even with all other plugins deactivated except Woocommerce?

Was looking for a Google analytics plugin and look what I found in a review:

Just stopped tracking on a clients site for several weeks – huge fail guys! – and now with the Storefront 2.2.3 update it’s the culprit in a bug that exposes the add_to_cart button jQuery on the template-homepage.php file. For this plugin to have been updated 2 weeks ago and still only be compatible up to WP 4.5.9 is unacceptable from a WooCommerce plugin. Sorry, uninstalling.

Are you by any change using a Google analytics plugin: https://nl.www.ads-software.com/plugins/woocommerce-google-analytics-integration/

It discribes exactly your problem right?
Just wanted to let you know!

Yessssssss… This exactly my problem!, but I disabled it and the problem was there still. Anyway, this is exactly my problem. Will keep an eye on the GA update then will test again.

    Thanks a million Annie ??

Thank you Annie, I really appreciate your help here. At least I’m not in a panic mode anymore as I get to understand what I should look for ??

I just checked your home page in both Chrome and FF; no scripts being displayed.

Hi bdbrown, Yes, rolled back to Storefront 2.1.8 fixed the issue. Any upgrade to 2.2.x brings back the problem.

This is the issue with that Google Analytics plugin. I am running latest Storefront. I disabled the plugin and my problem was solved. I also created a support topic in the plugin page. I will update their reply to this post.

@biswashkoirala, you are correct and unfortunately, I can not deactivate the GA plugin. Currently, I’m still running 2.1.8 and would be great to learn that GA solved the issue.

    Thanks pal.
