BUG: If you change the substitutions after Save

    There is a bug (I think) that occurs when you change a substitution.
    Follow the following procedure to see it in action:
    a) Edit a match in which a team has 3 players (i.e. Player A, Player B, Player C).
    b) Put Player A and Player B as Starting Lineup
    c) Put Player C as Substitution of Player A.
    d) Go to frontend and see the Box Score what it showing for the substitutions
    Now
    e) Go back to wp-admin and CHANGE Player C as a Starting Lineup
    f) Change Player B as Substitution of Player A.
    g) Go to frontend and see that the Player C has kept the status of Substitution.

    If you check also the post_meta on DB, the value of substitution is still there!

    When I try this exact procedure it works fine.

    Please kindly try disabling all your plugins and removing any custom code you may have.

    Also what theme are you using?

    I am using a fresh install of wordpress with only Sportspress and Sportspress for Football installed.

    No custom code.

    The theme is the TwentySeventeen I think. But the error appears also at the wp-admin section. If you go back to the event-edit screen and change back the Player C from Starting Lineup to Substitute, the minutes are there from before. So for some reason are not deleted from the DB when you deselect the Substitution.

    I dont think that is a theme bug ??

    Please try disabling the sportspress for football. How it works for you with just SportsPress?
