Bug – Import from WP Meta SEO doesn’t work

    Importing meta descriptions from WP Meta SEO into Yoast does not work.

    When I run through the tutorial on Yoast.com, it tells me the import was successful, but those values are not reflected in Yoast.

    WP Meta SEO doesn’t have a way to export, so I’m not able to deactivate and import to Yoast without this feature.

    I’ve replicated this on a brand new install on localhost as well as on a production site with the same results.

    Turns out that the data was already there, I just had to “Update” each post for them to appear. Very odd.

    I did this in bulk 25 posts at a time until all of them were refreshed. I couldn’t do much more than that or the server would choke.

    Closing this out but I hope this helps somebody.
