Bug in ‘Cover’ block in RC2?

  • Hi,
    I just installed the latest RC2 of WP, (5.0-RC2-43958) on a localhost and it seems to me that there’s a problem with the Cover block in the new Gutenberg editor.
    If I choose to use the cover block in full width mode a horisontal scrollbar is created in the output.
    It doesn’t matter what size the image I use has.
    I am using GeneratePress as a theme.

  • I would like to check back in with this and see if now 5.0.2 is released this problem has resolved for you?

    Hi,
    nope, the horisontal scrollbar is still there.
    just checked this in FireFox, Chrome and IE.

    Could you test for me if you see this scrollbar still using Twenty Nineteen for example? I am trying to work out if it’s the theme causing this.
